To put it plainly, the therapy that I received at Harvest House changed my life completely. I was a little discouraged at first because my therapist was an intern, and a male at that, however, he made me feel completely comfortable sharing my pain and exploring how that pain has driven my actions. He was always on time, very professional, honest, and was very flexible with my busy schedule. The rest of the staff was always extremely friendly and encouraging during our short encounters, and the atmosphere of the office made me feel even more at ease. The rooms are comfortably deigned with the client in mind. I built up an immense trust with my therapist and was able to completely transform my life. He was very gentle, yet honest. That is important in a therapist because their honesty helps give you a different perspective. I respected that from him. He was also very reliable and always professional. To be honest, I didn't expect an intern to be that spectacular, but he was. I would recommend Harvest House to anyone who is serious about making some changes in their life. Harvest House helped me to see what I was previously blind to and my therapist was with me every step of the way, very reliable. Payment was also always very easy and I was made aware of the charges before continuing therapy. I've been a pastor for 17 years.  Early on, Harvest House came alongside us in significant ministry.  My wife and I did personal counseling work with them even though we weren't in crisis.  The result of our time was the same as many others... we deepened our relationship by becoming more self-aware and more other-aware.  Our love is stronger, our communication better, and as a result, we are more solid as a family.

Over the years, I've recommended many persons to Harvest House.  My observation is this... if you are serious about what you are facing, and willing to be brutally honest with yourself and others, this is a counseling service that can help.  It won't be easy.  But it will be worth it.
